It is with great sadness that we join our local community in this period of national mourning following the announcement of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who passed away earlier today.

We will keep our website updated with details of local events happening during this period of national mourning including Council Services, Condolence Books, Church Services, Flowers and tributes.

Friday September 9th: An official Book of Condolence will be opened at St Nicholas Church for members of the community beginning at 5:00pm – 7:00pm. The Book of Condolence and ability to leave flowers will be available during the period of mourning from 9:00am to 5:00pm ending on September Tuesday 20th at 9:00am.

Sunday September 11th The Chair of the Parish Council will read the Proclamation at St Nicholas Church at 5:30pm followed by refreshments. Members of the community are invited to attend at which time you may sign the Book of Condolence and leave flowers around the Church Font.

Sunday September 18th Service of Thanksgiving and Commemoration for the reign of Queen Elizabeth II at St Nicholas Church at 5:00pm.

September Tuesday 20th* at 9:00am all flowers and any message cards will be removed and cards will be kept with the Book of Condolence.

Arrangement for a two-minute silence to be announced.
